Gameplay
Squarb Stack VS is a 2-player competitive game. The goal is to craft a stable stack of squarbs above the goal height before the other player! You can move and rotate the squarbs before dropping them to ensure your stack remains balanced.
…Or you can just spam LOL
The controls in this game are up to you! There are several premade control schemes to choose from which use your keyboard or game controllers. If none of them are to your liking, you can even create your own in the Settings Menu.
If you’d like to play alone, just go to settings and set both players’ controls schemes to the same Keyboard scheme. This way all your inputs affect both players!
Controls
- Mouse – Navigate Menus
- Game Controls – You choose your controls on the Settings Menu!
- P – Pause/Unpause (during gameplay)
Pause Menu Controls
- M+R – Reset the current match
- L+R – Reset the previous match. Undoes the winner’s point gain
- G+R – Reset the entire game. Resets score to 0-0
- T+R – Return to Main Menu.
- 1 – Gives player 1 a point
- 2 – Gives player 2 a point
Control Scheme Notes
- If both players are using the keyboard, be careful that you don’t share any input keys. This game does not differentiate between multiple keyboards.
- But, if you want to do some fun stuff where both players have the same ‘drop’ key, go for it!
- Don’t use ‘P’ as one of your inputs. It is the pause button!
- Custom Control Schemes are not saved between sessions in the browser.
- However, they are saved in the Windows Version
- Browsers treat Numpad inputs as the same as the corresponding number key, so pressing 0 on the Numpad is the same as the normal 0 key.
- The premade scheme ‘Keyboard (DPAD)’ expects you to have and use a Numpad with NumLock on.
- Game Controllers are not well-supported in Godot Web Exports, so the Input Test for a game controller may not line up with the buttons you are pressing.
- This problem is not present in the Windows Version
Happy Stacking!
